ICE CREAM PIE

Ingredients

Cracker or cookie crumb crust - 6-8
Any flavour of ice cream or sorbet, slightly softened - 4 cups
Hot fudge sauce, butterscotch or strawberry sauce - 1 cup
Whipped Cream - 1 cup
Nuts (mixed) - 1/2 cup

Method

Layer scoops of ice cream with sauce in the pie crust. Cover tightly and freeze until firm, at least 4 hours. Serve with additional toppings,whipped cream, nuts, cherry etc if desired. Using different kind of crumbs and different ice cream flavours and toppings you can  create an almost infinite variety of super easy summer desserts using this easy recipe. Just be sure to take it out of the freezer for half an hour before serving, so its soft enough to slice.
